John Todd moved to Chiswick with his family in June 1985 and has been a Councillor since May 2006 for the London Borough of Hounslow, representing the Chiswick Homefields Ward. During his period as a Councillor John has chaired the Pension Fund Panel, actively involved himself in Hounslow Council’s Audit Work, Overview and Scrutiny Committee, the Planning Committee, Chiswick Area Forum and others.
John has built a reputation of responding promptly to constituents and businesses alike and getting things done. He is a robust researcher and effectively challenges the current Labour administration in diverse ways, with his most recent campaign to save the Hogarth Youth Club.
Outside of his Councillor responsibilities, John is a school governor at Chiswick School and was appointed by the Ministry of Justice to the Independent Monitoring Board at HM Prison Wormwood Scrubs.
