Local MP Mary Macleod has organised a public meeting in Chiswick to discuss the issue of burglary in the area.
Burglary and robbery have been a growing concern in the Grove Park area of Chiswick. Although local police have taken a number of actions to alleviate the problem, Mary also wants to encourage the community to remain vigilant and help stamp out burglary in the area.
The public meeting will take place on Saturday 9th November from 10:30am – 11:30 at St. Paul’s Church, 56 Grove Park Road, Chiswick, W4 3SB. A member of Hounslow police will be in attendance to talk about what the police are doing to reduce burglaries in Grove Park and to discuss the concerns of local residents.
Mary said:
‘Our local police do a great job keeping our streets safe and although crime is relatively low in our local area, Chiswick residents must help the police in their fight against crime. Burglary has been more prevalent in Grove Park of late and it is important for us to tackle this issue head on. It is critical for the whole community to come together in resolving this problem and that is why I have organised the public meeting. I strongly encourage all Chiswick residents to attend and take part.’
