Local MP, Mary Macleod has called on any residents concerned with the redevelopment plans for Brentford High Street to attend a meeting this Saturday.
Mary has invited Ballymore, the company responsible for the redevelopment plans, to be at Brentford Docking Station on Saturday 2nd November to give local residents an update. On the day, local residents will be able to drop-in from 10am until 5pm to learn more about the redevelopment proposals and discuss their views on it. Ballymore will also be providing boards illustrating the redevelopment scheme for local display so that interested members of the public can view the proposals.
Council officers will be submitting their report on the redevelopment to the Council’s Planning Committee on 28th November 2013. This will be a ‘special meeting’ aimed solely at discussing Ballymore’s planning application and members of the public will also be able to speak at that meeting, subject to notifying the Committee Clerk before the meeting.
Mary said:
‘This meeting will be a great chance for local residents to get an update on the redevelopment plans. Brentford High Street is an important part of our local community and I know local residents really care about this important decision which will completely change Brentford High Street for the future.’
