Members of Hounslow's Labour Cabinet held a poorly attended "Quiz the Cabinet" event at Chiswick Town Hall on Wednesday 18th February. Council Leader, Steve Curran, acknowledged that the meeting could have been better advertised. The majority of the people in the audience were individuals from other parts of the Borough wishing to raise non-Chiswick related issues. No time was found to take questions from three ladies Oxford Gardens who wished to ask why their street trees had not been replaced and now their pavements were to be removed and replaced with tarmac. Written answers were promised to all the questions that were asked.
