Following a packed meeting of the Turnham Green Action Team in Chiswick last week, local MP Mary Macleod has encouraged all Chiswick people to come to the Chiswick Area Forum meeting tomorrow and have their say on Piccadilly line trains stopping at Turnham Green station throughout the day.
Local residents will be able to attend the Chiswick Area Forum tomorrow at 7:30pm in Chiswick Town Hall, where the issue of Piccadilly line trains stopping at Turnham Green will be discussed and attendees will have the chance to ask questions. This forms part of TfL’s public consultation into the matter, which will run until 7th October.
TfL’s online survey on the issue has already received over 12,000 responses. Mary also has set up an online petition which has received nearly 2,500 signatures.

‘Tomorrow’s Chiswick Area Forum offers a great opportunity for local residents to hear from Transport for London and ask questions. This is a chance for them to have their say on Piccadilly line trains stopping at Turnham Green. I would encourage as many people as possible to attend so we can show how important this issue is for Chiswick. Over 12,000 people have already responded to the consultation but we must ensure that Chiswick is well represented in the responses, so please encourage your friends, family and neighbours to complete the consultation, as well as attending the meeting.”
