Hounslow council’s ruling Labour Party has rejected proposals by Conservative councillors to cut the council tax!
Conservatives proposed that a VAT refund of over £2 million should be given back to the borough’s residents. However, Labour rejected it! Instead they put the money into Council reserves!
Conservatives say this money should be in the pockets of residents, not the council.
Labour promised they would cut the council tax. Instead all they have managed to do so far is freeze it, which was only possible due to a grant from the Conservative-led Government.
