Mary Macleod welcomes tax cuts for local high streets

An estimated 500 local shops, pubs and restaurants in the Hounslow Borough could see their tax bills cut by a third because of tax cuts for small businesses taking effect this week. Local MP, Mary Macleod, has praised the students from Ealing and Brentford Air Training Cadets, who are participating in the UK Aerospace Youth Rocketry Challenge. This week, the cadets will take part in the regional stage of the competition, which sees teams across the country design, build and launch rockets.
